Why it’s a high-risk area
Commercial kitchens stay wet and greasy throughout service, and a thin film of fat dramatically cuts grip. It’s one of the most common places of all for staff injuries.
How we test it
We test in the realistic, contaminated condition with the correct slider, across the prep, cooking and wash-up areas.
If it falls short
Usually it’s a genuinely slip-resistant floor kept properly degreased; where the floor itself is the problem we’ll say so, and re-test after any work.
